Valet Parking Services

Valet parking is available for $3 and free for patrons with handicap permits. Valet services are available at the hospital main entrance and the Orthopaedic Center entrance from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Dana Cancer Center has valet services from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays.

Self Parking

Guest and patient parking is available in Lot #40, located in front of the Mulford Library Building. Patient parking is available in Lot #41 located near the Heart and Vascular and Emergency entrance of the hospital. Special areas are marked for employees, visitors, handicapped vehicles, and emergency use. These restrictions have been made for the safety of all. Parking in restricted areas may result in a ticket and fine.

Visiting Hours

We recognize that visitors help our patients heal, but during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are temporarily modifying our visitation procedures to protect the safety of our patients, staff and community.

General Visitation Procedures

Visitation for non-COVID-19 patients in our inpatient unites is limited to one visitor per patient at one time from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Visitors must 16 years of age or older or who have special permission from the Nursing Director.

Off-hour visitation is only available with special permission from the Nursing Director. Limit of one visitor per patient during off-hour visitation.

For patients in our COVID-19 unit, general visitation is limited to one immediate family member per day between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Visitors must be at least 16 years of age.

COVID-19 patients may receive religious services from clergy of their choice, during visitation hours, if it can be provided without disruption of care. COVID-19 patients with disabilities may have two designated support persons or guardians stay with them during hospital visiting hours. One individual may remain overnight, if the hospital can accommodate them.

For end-of-life care, COVID-19 patients may receive religious services and have up to two visitors, without restrictions on time of day, as approved by staff.

All visitors must enter through the main hospital lobby.

Child Psychiatric Units - Kobacker Center Visiting Hours: Limited hours with advance permission of the attending physician.

Insurance We Accept

Patients should always verify The University of Toledo Medical Center and physician participation with their health plan benefit package prior to receiving health care services.

Cafeteria

Our cafeteria is located on the first floor of the hospital. The cafeteria is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday - Friday, and 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.

Gift Shop

The Gift Shop offers a wide array of candy, magazines, cards, balloons unique gifts, and collectibles. Our beautiful fresh flower arrangements are prepared by a local florist and are available in various price ranges. As an added feature to our guest, we accept telephone orders and are happy to deliver your order to our guests. If placing an order for fresh flowers, please note that they are not permitted per hospital policy in the Intensive Care Units.

Location: We are located down the hall from the main lobby and next to the cafeteria.

Hours of Operations: Monday – Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The gift shop is closed Saturday, Sunday and holidays.

Phone and Internet Access

Phone services are located on each floor of the hospital. We have free, wireless Internet access that you can connect to.

Pharmacy

The outpatient pharmacy prepares and dispenses medications for patients, as well as students, employees and volunteers of The University of Toledo. The pharmacy is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Banking

An ATM is located on the first floor of the hospital.

Financial Assistance

Financial counselors help arrange for payment plans and financial assistance for eligible patients and families.

Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care is available by calling 419.383.3851. Not only are Pastoral Care clergy and/or trained volunteers available to you, but your own pastor is welcome to visit you at any time. Please let us know if we can help you with any of your spiritual needs.

Interpreter Services

Translators and hearing impaired services for patients and guests are available.
