Family Medicine

The UT Medical Center Family Medicine provides primary medical care to infants, children, teens, adults and the elderly. The areas of medical care include routine office care, gynecology, obstetrics, and well-baby care. Minor outpatient procedures include flexible sigmoidoscopies, endometrial biopsies, vasectomies, colposcopy, and exercise stress testing.

Immunizations, nutritional counseling, psychosocial behavioral counseling, and hearing and vision screening are also performed. Family Medicine is staffed by seven board-certified family physician faculty, one faculty clinical psychologist, and one PhD faculty registered dietitian and one registered dietitian.
