According to a recent report by a national health-care monitoring organization, that's the average amount of time a patient waits in the office before he or she is seen by a physician. Those same patients say that one of the biggest concerns involves actually scheduling the appointment-often having to wait for weeks before they can get in. For orthopaedic patients in Northwest Ohio, the wait is over at The University of Toledo Medical Center.
The UT Orthopaedic Center's physicians can guarantee an appointment within 24 hours of calling the center. If there is an emergency, such as a fracture, the UT Orthopaedic Center will see the patient immediately!
