UT Medical Center "Alumni" Campaign
UT Medical Center is the only academic medical center in the region.
So what does that mean to northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan?
It means UT Medical Center provides university-quality care. Our patients have access to health-care professionals who handle the most complex cases and who form the most specialized teams. It means excellent care for the people we serve.
And that’s what our current UT Medical Center awareness campaign is about – the people our researchers, physicians, health-care professionals, front-desk staff, volunteers and others help.
This campaign, which we refer to as the “UTMC alumni” campaign, highlights individuals who have battled complex medical conditions, including syncope (fainting usually related to temporary insufficient blood flow to the brain), breast cancer, kidney disease, heart attack and brain trauma.
These individuals graciously participated in a television spot that began running on local television stations April 13. Michael Jones, who received a kidney transplant thanks to the loving generosity of his loving wife, shares his feelings in a radio spot. And outdoor boards tout UT Medical Center’s “Higher degree of healing.”
