Complimentary Valet Parking Services
Valet parking, located at the hospital main entrance and at the outpatient surgery center entrance, is available during the day beginning at 8:00 am at no charge.
Self Parking
Parking is available in Lot #41, located near Emergency entrance to the hospital. Special areas are marked for employees, visitors, handicapped vehicles or for emergency use. These restrictions have been made for the safety of all. Parking in restricted areas may result in a ticket and fine.
Visiting Hours
Visitors are welcome from 11 am to 8:30 pm with some exceptions. We encourage you to limit visitors to two per patient at one time.
Overnight Lodging
Hilton Toledo at The University of Toledo Medical Center makes it easy for you, your family and friends to stay close. Families of patients are entitled to discounted room rates. Dial 419.381.6800, Ext. 722 for more information and to obtain special rates-location is 3100 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio.
Cellular Phones
Please do not use cellular phones in patient care areas. These phones interfere with patient care equipment or with other medical equipment.

Insurance We Accept
Patients should always verify The University of Toledo Medical Center and physician participation with their health plan benefit package prior to receiving health care services.
Cafeteria
Our cafeteria is located on the first floor of the hospital. The cafeteria is open Monday-Friday from 7 am-7 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8 am-6:30 pm.
Gift Shop
The Satellites Gift Shop is located on the first floor of the hospital near the Cafeteria. Beautiful flowers, unique gifts, sundries and collectibles await you. Fresh flowers are not permitted in the Intensive Care areas. Hours for the Gift Shop are: Monday-Friday 8:30 am-8:00 pm, closed Saturday, and Sunday 11 am-4 pm.
Patient Transport
Wheelchair and stretcher services are available. Please make arrangements in advance by contacting transport services dispatch at 419.383.5007. You will also find transport services available in the hospital’s main lobby, outpatient surgery center corridor and at Ruppert Health Center.
Phone and Internet Access
Phone services are located on each floor of the hospital. We have free, wireless Internet access that you can connect to.
Pharmacy
The outpatient pharmacy prepares and dispenses medications for patients, as well as students, employees, volunteers and employees of The University of Toledo.The pharmacy is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Banking
An ATM is located on the first floor of the hospital.
Financial Assistance
Financial counselors help arrange for payment plans and financial assistance for eligible patients and families.
Pastoral Care:
Pastoral Care is available by calling 419.383.3851. Not only are Pastoral Care clergy and/or trained volunteers available to you, but your own pastor is welcome to visit you at any time. Please let us know if we can help you with any of your spiritual needs.
Interpreter Services
Translators and hearing impaired services for patients and guests are available.
