The University of Toledo Medical Center offers a convenient direct-access system to facilitate patient referrals from regional hospitals and clinics. The Regional Access Center may be reached at its dedicated phone line 866.404.2337 (4 beds). Following the call, and upon acceptance of the transfer, the administrative coordinator takes report and admission orders, arranges for records to be faxed and assigns a bed for the transferring patient.
