The heart of a nurse is often touched by a patient, just as the heart of a patient is often touched by a nurse. Nurses spend countless hours caring for individuals who they will only know for a brief period of time. For many nurses, the most rewarding aspect of their job is knowing they have made a difference in the lives of their patients.
Nurses at The University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC) take great pride in providing patients with compassionate care. The experience patients and family members have with nurses leave life-long memories and impressions.
A grateful patient established the Dorothy U. and Ashel G. Bryan Nursing emergency fund. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarship support and emergency needs to UTMC nurses. Express your appreciation by making a gift to the fund.
