Patient Financial Services is committed to a patient friendly billing system to help you with your medical bills.

You may receive separate billing statements for your health care services from The University of Toledo Medical Center and from associated physicians on your health care team and other medical service providers.
For example, if you have surgery, you may receive a bill from the hospital as well as a statement from the physicians involved in your care.
If you see a physician in a University of Toledo Medical Center outpatient clinic, you may receive a billing statement for the physician's fees and one for the hospital facility and/or clinic fees.
You may receive, upon request, a list of the usual and customary charges for room and board, and for the most common procedures of X-ray, laboratory, emergency room, operating room, physical therapy, occupational therapy and respiratory therapy services.
Financial Advice: 419.383.7400 Financial advice and assistance are available from our Financial Counselors or Patient Financial Services. Ultimately you are responsible for payment of your bills. However, we will be happy to help you file for insurance benefits. We will also work with you on financial arrangements designed to make payment of medical bills easier.
