Interprofessional Education Workshop on Clinical & Translational Research

The purpose of this workshop and the Interprofessional Research Award is to stimulate the development of interprofessional research collaborations among residents and students in all the health sciences.  The specific aim of the Interprofessional Research Award (IRA) is to bring together productive students and residents for a Translational Research Workshop to focus on innovative solutions to common problems that have application to humans.  Translational research is broadly defined as the effective translation of new knowledge, mechanisms, and techniques generated by advances in basic science research into new approaches for the prevention, diagnosis or treatment of human disease.
