Study Title: A Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo Controlled, Multi-center, Phase II Study of Adding AMG 479, a Fully Human Monoclonal Antibody Against Insulin-like Growth Factor Type 1 Receptor (IGF-1R) to First Line Chemotherapy in Patients With Optimally Debulked ( < 1 cm ) Epithelial Ovarian Cancer.
Study Purpose: This study will determine the value of adding AMG 479 (fully human monoclonal antibody against IGF-1R) to paclitaxel and carboplatin first line chemotherapy in patients with optimally debulked ( FIGO stage III and IV (positive pleural cytology only) ovarian epithelial (including fallopian tube and primary peritoneal) carcinoma.

Study Title: A Randomized Phase III Trial of Paclitaxel Plus Carboplatin Versus Ifosfamide Plus Paclitaxel in Chemotherapy-Naive Patients With Newly Diagnosed Stage I-IV, Persistent or Recurrent Carcinosarcoma (Mixed Mesodermal Tumors) of the Uterus or Ovary.
Study Purpose: This randomized phase III trial is studying giving paclitaxel together with carboplatin to see how well it works compared with giving paclitaxel together with ifosfamide in treating patients with newly diagnosed persistent or recurrent uterine or ovarian cancer.
Principal Investigator: John P. Geisler, M.D. and Kelly Manahan, M.D.

Study Title: A Phase II Evaluation of Elesclomol and Weekly Paclitaxel in the Treatment of Recurrent or Persistent Platinum-Resistant Ovarian, Fallopian Tube or Primary Peritoneal Cancer
Study Purpose: This phase II trial is studying the side effects of giving elesclomol sodium together with paclitaxel and to see how well it works in treating patients with recurrent or persistent ovarian epithelial cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or primary peritoneal cancer.
Principal Investigator: John P. Geisler, M.D. and Kelly Manahan, M.D.

Study Title: A Phase II Randomized, Double-Blind Trial of a Polyvalent Vaccine-KLH Conjugate (NSC 748933) + OPT-821 Versus OPT-821 in Patients With Epithelial Ovarian, Fallopian Tube, or Peritoneal Cancer Who Are in Second or Third Complete Remission
Study Purpose: This randomized phase III trial is studying OPT-821 and vaccine therapy to see how well they work compared with OPT-821 alone in treating patients with ovarian epithelial cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or peritoneal cancer in second or third complete remission.
Principal Investigator: John P. Geisler, M.D. and Kelly Manahan, M.D.

Study Title: A Phase II Randomized Open Label Study of MM-121 in Combination With Paclitaxel Versus Paclitaxel Alone in Patients With Platinum Resistant/ Refractory Advanced Ovarian Cancers
Study Purpose: To determine whether the combination of MM-121 plus paclitaxel is more effective than paclitaxel alone
Principal Investigator: John P. Geisler, M.D. and Kelly Manahan, M.D.
