NDNQI Pressure Ulcer Training - This training is for Staff Nurses and Respiratory Therapists.  After each module, you will receive a certificate of completion.  You must submit a certificate of completion to your Director for both Modules 1 and 2.  It is recommended that you complete Modules 3 and 4 on your own.  If you complete all 4 modules, you can earn 1.5 CEs.  A CE certificate will be available to you upon completion of all 4 modules.  Please make sure you have the capability of printing your certificate at the completion of the program; the website does not save certificates to be printed at a later date. 

 

Stroke Management - This course is for 5CD staff.  This course discusses ischemic stroke management for the patient with a new diagnosis of ischemic stoke, rule out stroke, or TIA.

Stroke Management Quiz - You must take this quiz to get credit for viewing the Stroke Management education.  A score of 80% or higher must be obtained to pass.

 

Stroke Management with tPA Administration - This course is for ICU, ED, and CVL staff.  This course discusses ischemic stroke management for the patient with a new diagnosis of ischemic stoke, rule out stroke, or TIA including administration of tPA.

Stroke Management with tPA Administration Quiz - You must take this quiz to get credit for viewing the Stroke Management with tPA Administration education.  A score of 80% or higher must be obtained to pass.

 

Basic EKG Refresher - This refresher is recommended for nurses who want to brush up on their basic EKG strip interpretation skills.  Especially helpful as a review prior to taking the Advanced EKG Course.  Topics include cardiac anatomy & physiology, normal electrical conduction, sinus rhythms, atrial rhythms, and ventricular rhythms. 

Advanced EKG Refresher - This refresher is recommended for nurses who want to brush up on their advanced EKG strip interpretation skills.  Topics include junctional rhythms, heart blocks, paced rhythms, principles of pacing, and common cardiac emergencies.

 

Modern-Day Slavery in America: Recognizing and Responding to Human Trafficking in a Heathcare Context - This is a wonderful online presentation by the Polaris Project on the healthcare response to human trafficking.
