2013 LVAD Training |
Staff is required to attend a hands-on training session with the LVAD every 6 months to maintain compliance. Staff Development will offer training in both March and Sepetmber annually. |
All sessions are from 7:30am – 3pm. Stop by any time. It will take about 15 minutes
to get checked off.

Critical Care Classes |
These classes are recommended for all staff working in critical care or step-down units. This new program blends classroom education with hands-on practice including simulation. Participants are encouraged to attend both didactic and hands-on sessions for each topic, although, staff may attend only the didactic or only the hands-on at the discretion of their Nursing Director. The topics may be completed in any order and staff can start the series with any class. |
*All didactic sessions will be held from 7am-11am.
*All hands-on sessions will be held from 8am-10am.
