Kidney Transplant Statistics

The University of Toledo Medical Center Kidney Transplant Program reached a medical milestone in 2000, when the 1000th kidney transplant was performed. As one of the oldest kidney transplant programs in the country, we have achieved patient and graft survival rates above the national average.

Surgical skills, anti-rejection drugs and improved patient-donor matching have allowed long-term success rates at The UT Medical Center.
