Educational Mission
Our
practice is the main outpatient teaching site for pediatric
resident physicians and medical students of the University of
Toledo. Our faculty physicians have been chosen to teach about
caring for children because they have been recognized as
outstanding caregivers and teachers. Resident physicians and
medical students, under direct supervision of our faculty, see some
of the patients. A pediatric resident physician is a physician
who has gone through a rigorous selection process to obtain a
position at a teaching institution such as the University of
Toledo. The medical students are usually in their third or fourth
year of their medical education.
We believe that children's health care is improved by your
willingness to participate in a program like this. By doing so, you
are significantly helping the next generation of physicians learn
how to meet the need of children and
families.
