Degree: MD: Damascus University, School of Medicine, Damascus, Syria Residency: Internal Medicine, Hahnemann University-Easton Hospital, Easton PA; Fellowship in Gastroenterology/Hepatology: Albany Medical College/Center, Albany, NY; Advanced Interventional Endoscopy Fellowship (ERCP and EUS): St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI Board Certified: Gastroenterology Interests: Minimally Invasive Advanced Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Interventional Endoscopic (EUS) and ERCP for treating and staging GI Diseases and Malignancies. Research: Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Remarks: One of the leading advanced therapeutic endoscopists in northwest Ohio. Before coming to UTMC, he was chief of endoscopy and the director of Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship Program at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He has extensive experience in ERCP, EUS and other endoscopic management of pancreaticobiliary diseases and other gastrointestinal diseases and malignancies.
