Aortic Center of Excellence

Disease of the aorta and its branches (aneurysms, dissection, ulcers, are challenging, frequently require urgent or emergent intervention and require the timely collaboration of multiple physicians to insure positive outcomes. Since time is of the essence, rapid communication and triage of patients is essential for success. UTMC has a dedicated team of physicians (surgeons, cardiologists, radiologists and anesthesiologists) interested and trained in aortic disease to expeditiously diagnose and treat these potentially life threatening problems.
