There are many different ways to treat the various cancers that exist, depending on the type of cancer and how long it has progressed. The cancer specialists at UTMC examine these options in regular team conferences to discuss the best treatment plan for each of our patients. Treatment plans are developed working with surgical, medical and radiation oncologists; pathologists; radiologists; primary care physicians; oncology nursing staff and social workers. |
